The long and hot summer is coming to an end. Unfortunately, here at Bloom Legal we know it takes the New Orleans weather a few extra months to realize the change of season. However, the summer lull is over, and now the good times are rolling: Saints and LSU football are kicking off, and, of course, it's Labor Day weekend which means one thing, Decadence Festival. Decadence is one of the largest tourist attractions in the city, which, with the heat, means the police will be pushed to their limit. It’s important that everyone remain safe while having a good time; this is certainly not the weekend to drink too much, certainly not to drink and drive. Here are some tips: If you're down in the Quarter and you're on Bourbon Street, don't touch the horses. You wouldn't walk up to a police officer and pet him, so don't pet his horse. Stay sober, be safe, and enjoy New Orleans’ cuisine and culture. It’s hot and there are a lot of people out there, so keep your wits about you while you explore. We don't want anyone to have to call us on Monday morning. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me, Seth Bloom, at 504-599-9997 for your consultation.
